Opening "Marius Steiger – Hermitage"

In his pictures and installations, Marius Steiger (*1999, Bern) focuses on the discrepancy between naturalness and artificiality. His work is not based on existing "nature", but on digital 3D simulations of objects and situations. He thus creates a visually constructed world: in his first institutional solo exhibition, he transforms the rooms at Kunst Raum Riehen into a retreat ("Hermitage") of painted illusions.
